Four years ago, we purchased a burgundy phone that matched the size and thickness of a deck of cards.
Last year, for my birthday, I chose an ipad2 over a smart phone.
This week, however, I made the smart decision to roll into the 21st century with Siri by my side. To think! I can spout out commands and the only response I hear is, “I can do that for you, Cathy.” If only Siri did housework.

Last weekend’s thrift find, a signed drawing of a Saluda NC downtown building, is a win.
It was once the Morning Glory florist, but I believe it now houses the best pizza in Saluda, @thepurpleonionsaluda.
The quiet town of @saludanc has been a favorite destination of mine for decades. @wildfloursaluda is our go-to for delicious food and bakery treats, and a tiny shop adjacent to the bakery is pure delight with a little bit of everything with a mountain feel.
The thrifty price tag doesn’t reflect its true value evident in the artist’s deft skill in bringing a mere building to life. A find indeed. 💗

I'm jealous! Brian is holding out for the 5…when it rolls out, he gets the 5 and I get the hand-me-down 4. So, no Siri, but still a vast improvement over that burgundy phone – I had the exact one you did (until I killed it…). 🙂 Favorite apps…Angry Birds, Yahtzee, Words with Friends…oh, wait…er…nevermind!
