The Fragrance of Love: Pencil Shavings and Giveaways

I LOVE anything with the hint of pencil shavings except, of course, jelly beans. (Yes, this exists.) 

The office supply section at Target has a gravitational force that sucks in nerdy lovers of all things paper with little resistance. And when that paper item just happens to be paired with anything tea related? Bye bye necessities! 

Today, I’d like to share last week’s Target find with you. Literally. But first, the specifics. I love the size. It fits in a pocket or purse. The kraft paper is the perfect backdrop for the steaming cups of tea. Pages are lined and ready for pen in hand!
 

Here’s the fun part:

    I love little notebooks like this for jotting down those ideas that pop into your head while you're out and about. I will totally forget by the time I get home, but it's just not the same typing it into your phone reminders.

    Because of the size, I would use this for Bible memory verses, so I can have it with me all the time.

    What a fun idea to give away as well as enjoy seeing how folks like to use journals. My next journal is going to be shared with my 17 year old daughter as I hope to encourage her to begin journaling for her quiet times. I am planning to read the same devo book and pass the book back and forth a couple of times a week. Now for the doing of it!

    I would use it to record specific prayers & how God has answered them; also to give thanks for unanswered prayers that I have to wait on His timing. Which is one of the hardest things to do when you're going thru something with your child.

    Oh my goodness, Tammy! What a blessing to see your name here. 🙂 You're so right, my friend. Waiting isn't easy but by journaling we see the many ways God is answering our prayers — and even when we can't see — we can rest knowing He is always at work. I love the verse that says He never sleeps nor slumbers. That's our God!
