We recently received a letter from Dallis, a delightful teenager whose parents lead our life group at Summit. God has led her to give up time by the pool and frou-frou drinks at Starbucks this summer in order to love on orphans…in Uganda.

Sound familiar? As many of you know, our grandson is in Uganda, most likely in an orphanage (or soon will be).

What if…our little one is warmly embraced and loved on by Dallis before we ever lay eyes on him? One thing is for sure. Someone’s future child or grandchild will be loved on by this young woman and her team — and for this, I give God thanks with a grateful heart.

If you would like to join us in financially supporting Dallis on her missions trip, please email me. I’m sure she (and her parents) would appreciate your prayer support above all.

As you may or may not know, our oldest son, Brandon, and our daughter-in-law, Megan, are being featured THIS week on Give1Save1’s website. The challenge is simple. Give $1.00 towards bringing home their son from Uganda. $1.00 doesn’t seem like much, but when everyone joins in the story, it can make a tremendous difference.

“What if?”

It’s a favorite question of mine as a Christ follower. Nothing is too significant or insignificant to move God’s heart and hand.
