Ready to fall in love with Fall all over again? Me too! How could we not? This season gives us much pause for appreciation.
This month I’ll be blogging every day {except Sundays} on the many ways we can take hold of the season, making the most of it, before it slips into Winter. Some of the topics will include things to do as a family, fun activities for the children/grandchildren, recipes, reflective thoughts, and a whole host of other ideas. Did I mention recipes? Yep, they’re that yummy! I’ll also be sharing a sercy (Southern term for a small gift) now and then.
Today, I’d like to introduce you to fellow blogger and friend, Rene Peery Beagle, aka The Domestic Lady. Last week, she shared seven of her favorite soup recipes, and might I add, I saved them all? Brian is in for a treat!
How could anyone go wrong with Italian Chicken Noodle Soup, White Chili Chicken (gluten and dairy-free!) or your Basic Chili and Cornbread — just to name a few? Thanks, Rene.
Nothing says Welcome! to this new season, as well as friends, like a steamy pot of soup simmering on the stove, corn bread hot from the oven, and a warm smile.
What is your favorite fall-inspired soup? If you’re a fellow #write31days participant, please leave a comment so I can visit your blog as well.
Ooh I love soup! I have a lot of favorites, but one is a sweet potato, bell pepper, coconut milk soup that I love to make & can't get enough of! Maybe I need to make some this week with a pan of (gf) cornbread. Looking forward to your chicken chili recipe & the rest of your series! I'm participating in this challenge, too!
It's nice meeting you here, Heather! Your recipe sounds yummy. 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by and taking the time to share. I look forward to visiting your site as well. Have a great weekend. We're expecting lots of rain here in SC so you're right — it will be the perfect weekend to cook a batch of soup. 🙂
Brunswick Stew….OLD VA recipe. The ones mentioned above sound great, too
That sounds like a true classic, Marsha! I've never had Brunswick Stew but you've sparked my interest. 🙂 Thanks for sharing! Have a blessed and safe weekend.
Oh, how I love to try new soup recipes. Visiting from the 31 House & Home blog hop. 🙂
Welcome, Heather! Thank you for stopping by and sharing. I look forward to checking out your blog as well. Blessings!
Stopping in from Write31 :)! I just love soup… it's hard to pick a favorite! But chili is a staple dish during winter :).
Hi Bri! Welcome to Fragrant Ink 🙂 Chili is definitely a staple dish for us as well. Hope you enjoy the recipes.
I look forward to visiting your site. Thanks for stopping by and taking time to share.
Blessings from SC!
