In celebration of all you summer-lovers out there here are three diverse ways to soak up the season for all it’s worth. Enjoy!
What I appreciate most about Ginger
Harrington’s recent post, 21 Ways to Refresh Your Spiritual Routine,
is how each suggestion is simple, making them both doable and
refreshing, especially during busy this season. Here are three of those
ways:
- Declutter your mind and schedule
- Make a new playlist of worship songs—and really worship when you listen
- Take a prayer walk

Who wants to spend the day cleaning when summer fun awaits? Better yet, who wants to spend the day cleaning? It’s one of those things that must be done, but doing so in a timely manner can add hours to our day. That’s why I’m all about checklists. Thank you, Tips Bulletin!
I plan to try this idea, especially since Honey Mangoes are in season (and Piper loves them!) If you beat me to it, let me know what you think. Thanks, Fresh 180°.
So, what might spiritual routines, cleaning house, and super fast sorbet have in common? At first glance, not much at all, but each has the potential to offer their own type of refreshment and who couldn’t use some of that this season?
Thanks for the link to how to clean your place in twenty minutes a day for 30 days. Little things can pile up and then I have even less desire to tackle them. There's some good tips in there.
Thanks for sharing, Ellen! I had to smile when I read your comment because I was a little worried that the cleaning link would seem out of place to readers. Whew! You just made my day. As you often do. 🙂
Have a great upcoming weekend, my friend!
Great ideas, Cathy. Thanks for sharing. Love summer time 🙂
Thanks for stopping by, Beth! I wish I could say I love summer time. Ha… I'm so not a summer lover but I'm very thankful we live in an area that enjoys all four seasons. 🙂
