We welcomed little Gabriel Paton to the family on Saturday and look forward to welcoming another granddaughter this week!
While discussing a particular home we’d toured a couple weeks ago Brian and I remarked at the same time how we could envision our grandchildren running through the upstairs hallway (the layout was quite cool.) In that moment, I was reminded of my own grandmother’s house. It was, as described in one of my poems, a pocket-sized home—but there was nothing small about her love for our family.
I understood her kind of love when I first laid eyes on Piper, and now Gabe, and soon, another sweet baby girl.
Thank You, Lord.
But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him, and his righteousness to children’s children… Psalm 103:7
That's precious, Cathy. Congratulations.
Ahhh congrats. You surely will be one of those grandmas who exude love warmth upstairs halls full of fun and treasure.
Thank you Ellen and Marcia. 🙂
I sure hope to be one of those grandmas, Marcia!!
Congratulations Cathy! 😉 I have many fond memories of my grandmother's home tucked in my heart — may your new grandchildren store the same in theirs. 😉
much love, Hester 😉
Congratulations Cathy,

YAY — FINALLY those babies are making their appearances! So precious! I hate we couldn't get together last week, but I'm excited for you and can't wait to see the next sweetie.
Hugs to you, Nana Cathy!
Thank you Hester!!! I love your comment. 🙂
Susan, I hate we couldn't work it out either. 🙁 I hope you're going to blog on your Allume experience. I'd love to go next year.
Much love to two special friends…
