Quiet nights are vital for busy days. Pop some corn, turn off all the lights except for your Christmas tree or candles, and enjoy your favorite Christmas movie. After the movie, embrace the silence for awhile, thanking God for this season—for His Son, Jesus.

    My very favorite Christmas movie is A Christmas Carol. It always puts me in the spirit 🙂 I haven't watched it yet this year though. Thanks for the reminder!

    Which version is your favorite, Carol? We just saw the most recent one made by Disney. Loved it!

    I've never seen the Disney version. My favorite is the one with George C Scott. He makes a very convincing Scrooge!

    Ah yes! The classic, Carol. 🙂 You're right — he's almost too convincing! ha… The Disney version has the realistic cartoonish look. I'm sure there's an actual term for it. ha!
