Asking a blogger to choose their ten favorite blog posts of the year is like asking a parent to choose a favorite child, but here goes (in no particular order):
Beauty in the Mundane
Flash Poetry
A Temporary Tug
A Story Board for Inspiration
Reflections from My Word Pool
The Battle for a Five-and-a-Half-Inch Space
No Tissues Necessary!
Brokenness in the Sand
Sandy Patterned Snapshots
God is the God of Open Doors. Or Is He?
Two Sentimental Favorites:
Proud Parent Alert!
No Hoops Required
Thank you for sharing the two most precious commodities with me — your time and your thoughts.
God bless you! I look forward to our 2012 journey.
Wow – because my word for 2012 is FOCUS, I couldn't take time to read all your favorites. No Tissues caught my eye, so I clicked on that.
My stomach slowly knotted as I read. I thought back to my own experience at BR back in 2007, and glanced around to find my OWN tissues!
How fabulous that your experience was one of confirmation! I'm not surprised, and I look forward to what the Lord does with your writing in the new year. And I hope He arranges for us to meet face-to-face 🙂
Thank you, Susan. Meeting you face-to-face will be a blessing whenever that happens. I like your "one word" for 2012. 🙂
Just re-read The Battle for a 5 1/2" space. Seems particularly appropriate as I try to harness my energy toward my writing goals and work to fight many distractions.
Thanks for sharing, Ellen!
