It gives me great pleasure to introduce Edie Melson as my guest blogger today. She’s a prolific writer who has poured herself into numerous writers, such as myself. But more importantly, Edie is a woman of prayer.
If you know or love someone serving our country, you’ll especially resonate with Edie’s story. Welcome, my friend.

Oh how well I remember that time. From the outside looking in, I watched as God pulled you closer and closer, holding you in His strong arms.
And now your book will point others to that same strength. Thank you for your obedience to pray back then, and your obedience to share those prayers today.
I pray that many will be comforted by your heartfelt words.
Thank you for sharing, Vonda. I can't imagine how many will be touched by Edie's book. To God be the glory!
Vonda, you were one of many that walked through this with me. And you helped point me toward the only ONE who could bring peace!
